UNESCO Chair in Life Sciences at Life Sciences International Postgraduate Educational Center (LSIPEC) in partnership with Bogomoletz Institute of Physiology (Ukraine), Cairo University (Egypt), Istanbul Medeniyet University (Turkey), Southampton University (UK), Institute for Health and the Environment  University at Albany (USA), UNESCO Chair on Interdisciplinary Research in Diabetes at University of Tehran (Iran), Ivane Beritashvili Center of Experimental Biomedicine (Georgia), BLDE (Deemed to be University), (India), Stony Brook University (USA), Jamia Hamdard University (India) is in the process of organization “UNESCO/UNITWIN Interregional Network on PhD Education and Research in Biophysics, Biotechnology and Environmental Health”, which has been favorably approved by UNESCO.

 

As a starting step of this initiative, the International Advisory Board of the network is organizing the Inaugural Workshop of the Network during August 6-8, 2018 in Garni, Armenia to discuss the modern topics in Biophysics, Biotechnology and Environmental health and the organizational activities of the program management of the Network.

 

The overarching purpose of the workshop aims at gathering leading lecturers both from partner and other European universities who will be enrolled in the academic program of the Network for presenting the modern problems in biophysics, biotechnology and environmental health to potential PhD students of the Network.

 

The workshop will highlight the participation of European leading lecturers taking into consideration the importance of performing the workshop at high level knowledge in these disciplines. The targeted students will be from FSU, Minor Asian and African countries (i.e. from the countries covered by the Network), meanwhile encouraging and ensuring women’s full and effective participation.

 

We invite scientists, young researchers and students to participate in the Workshop. Those who are interested to present oral or poster presentations are welcome to register here.
